Selection and Treatment of Substrate for Mushroom Cultivation
Culture substrate is the foundation of mushroom growth. Choose fresh, mildew‑free raw materials such as sawdust, wheat husk and corn cob. Raw materials need to be crushed and mixed evenly with reasonable carbon‑nitrogen ratio. High‑temperature sterilization is required before bagging to kill harmful bacteria. Proper substrate treatment can reduce pollution rate and lay a good foundation for mycelium growth.
